A great year for Pippa Funnell and Billy Walk On resulted in several EHOA awards
The Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA) finished the season with a celebration dinner and awards ceremony at The Saddlers' Hall in the heart of the City of London on Monday 7th November.
As a part of the evening’s festivities the EHOA awards for the 2016 season were awarded (big drum roll):
Weatherbys Private Bank Award £750 + glass trophy presented to the leading EHOA member with a horse at the Rio Olympics
Presented to: Annie Jones (owner of Mighty Nice ridden by Phillip Dutton)
Shearwater Insurance Services Owner Award in the 7 year old championship - £750 + glass trophy presented to the leading EHOA Owner in the 7yo World Young Horse Championship held at Le Lion d’Angers
Nick & Barbara Walkinshaw (owners of Billy Walk On ridden by Pippa Funnell)

Shearwater Insurance Services Owner Award in the 6 year old championship - £750 + glass trophy presented to the winning Owner in the 6yo World Young Horse Championship held at Le Lion d’Angers

Knights 1759 Award - £750 + glass trophy presented to the winning Owner of the horse winning the Corinthian Cup held at The Festival of British Eventing
Andrea Clark (owner of Murphy’s Bonanza)
Huntridge Plaque presented to the Owner of the horse which gains the most BE points in the season, the sire or dam of which is a thoroughbred
Diane Brunsden & Peter Cattell
The Plum Powland Plaque - £1000 + £500 training bursary presented to the leading U21 rider who gained the most number of points in the OIU21 classes in 2016

The Hannah Francis Inspirational Young Eventer of the Year Award presented by KBIS to a very deserving individual

Mitsubishi Cup leading horse 2016 presented to the owners of the leading Foundations Points horse for 2016 based on their eligibility to compete in the Mitsubishi Motors Cup
