British Eventing Awards for Yasmin Ingham and Banzai Du Loir

 

 

The 2022 FEI Eventing World Champions, Yasmin Ingham and her 11-year-old gelding Banzai Du Loir, added two more trophies to the cabinet at the British Eventing’s end of season Awards night, presented by the Event Horse Owners Association (EHOA)

Yasmin received the Jane Holderness-Roddam Trophy, presented to the highest placed British Senior Rider in the respective yearly Championship, while the Calcutta Light Horse Trophy, for the British horse gaining the highest number of points throughout the season, went to Banzai Du Loir’s owners, Sue Davies and Janette Chinn.

“It’s been a complete dream” said Yasmin of the 2022 season, which started strongly with fourth place in the CCI4*-S at the Eventing Spring Carnival at Thorseby Park International (see video above) before heading to the Land Rover Kentucky Horse Trials in April, where they took second place at their CCI5* debut

They also finished fourth at Burgham International CCI4*-S in July before competing as an individual for Britain at the 2022 World Championships at Pratoni, Italy where they scooped the top prize, becoming the 2022 FEI Eventing World Champions
