At the mid-point of the year, British Eventing is highlighting the horses and riders that have had a good start to the 2021 season, however unusual it may have been.
After the first six months, Tom McEwen, who has just been named on his first Olympic team, leads the Rider League, Mollie Summerland’s Luhmuhlen 5* winner Charly Van Ter Heiden is the leading horse and Heidi Coy tops the Under 21 League

Indiba Top Rider League
The BE Top Rider League calculates points across all BE events over the season with the winner crowned at the end of each eventing year.
For the past two years the BE Top Rider has been Piggy March with Izzy Taylor finishing second behind Piggy in 2020 and Tom McEwan in third for the second year running

The Goldman Cup is awarded annually to the leading rider aged under 21 at the end of the season. The current leader, Heidi Coy, won it in 2019 and leads this year by a massive margin so far
