Got withdrawal symptoms and in need of some cross country action?
We can’t think of any better cure than watching the current World Number One, Tim Price ride Vitali around the CCI5* cross country at the 2022 Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, where the pair finished in third place overall
The then then 12-year-old Vitali, owned by Joe and Alex Giannamore was having his first ever CCI5* start but had produced a wonderful score of 21.3 in the dressage arena to put him into second place, just 0.1 penalties behind the leaders, Kitty King and Vendredi Biats
On cross country day, Vitali grew in confidence as he made his way around the course, coming home with 5.2 time penalties to maintain second place, this time behind the eventual winner Piggy March and Vanir Kamira
