It was a very good day at the office for Suffolk’s Mary Edmundson at the popular Norfolk event, Burnham Market (2) on Saturday
Mary won not only the Intermediate Section E but also was on top of the BE100 Section H riding Junction Princess, fourth in the Open Novice Section C riding Porridge Town and third in the Open Intermediate Section D riding DG Maradonna
Mary won the Intermediate Section E on board on Lionel II, starting in the lead of the dressage on 26.1 and producing one of the fastest cross country rides of the day to add just 2.8 time faults and finish several penalties ahead of second placed (35) Meghan Healy on Weston Goodfella
The other Intermediate class on Saturday, the Open Intermediate Section D was won by Katie Barber on Diamond Mine, a 17h mare that recently finished second at Keysoe (3), ahead of Georgie Frow on TS Shanghai, Mary in third and Tom Jackson in fourth place on Billy Senora, who also had the honour of being the only rider to complete both Intermediate courses without time penalties
Lauren West and Valentino 46
Lauren West riding Valentino 46, Emily Pragnell riding DHermes De Niro and Katharine Mason riding Ariban won each of the Novice sections while the BE100 Section G was taken by Polly Mountford riding Parc Junior
