Oliver Townend and the 12-year-old Dreamliner took out the CCI4*-S at Chatsworth International on Sunday while Britain’s Zara Tindall wins the Advanced
Oliver Townend and Dreamliner have added to their recent CCI4*-S win at Burnham Market International by taking the top class at Chatsworth International ahead of France’s Tom Carlile riding Darmagnac De Beliard (26.8) and Ros Canter riding Pencos Crown Jewel (34.2)
Ros Canter riding Izilot DHI led after the dressage phase but time faults in the show jumping and cross country dropped them down the leaderboard while Oliver tackled the hilly terrain and Ian Starke’s challenging cross course with gusto, completing with just two time penalties for the fastest time of the class to win on a score of 31.40
This gave Oliver his third “Ducal’ win of the weekend, having won the Novice Section E on Saturday at Chatsworth as well as a win further north at Floors Castle in Scotland, where he took the CCI3*-S riding Crazy Du Loir on Friday
While many of his French counterparts were busy at Pratoni Del Vivaro, Tom Carlile’s young horse Darmagnac De Beliard put on a very good performance at just his second CCI4* start, with the nine-year-old adding just time faults in the show jumping and cross country to take second place (32.40)

Ros Canter finished in third place (34.2) on Pencos Crown Jewel, adding just 5.6 cross country time to their dressage score
In the Advanced class Zara Tindall and Class Affair finished on their dressage score of 34.1 to take the win ahead of Phoebe Locke riding Pica D’Or (36.7) and JP Sheffield riding Schindler’s Boy (37.6)
Australia’s Greta Mason backed up her very good win in the Advanced at Cirencester Park recently with fourth place on Cooley For Sure (38.2)
