6YO Championship
Currently leading the FEI-WBFSH World championship for 6-year-old horses at Le Mondial Du Lion is the 22-year-old Norwegian rider Yasmin Olsson Sanderson on Inchello DHI
They won the CCI2*-YH at Millstreet, Ireland and finished fourth at Floors Castle CCI2*-S – watch their cross country ride at Floors Castle in May the video above
Caroline Powell and Greenacres Special Cavalier are currently in 14th place. Here's their winning ride in the BE100 at Horseheath in April
Britain's Hayden Hankey had three horses in the top ten of the CCI2*-L at Blair Castle International but it was the 'special' Cartown Galaxy, competing here at le Lion d'Angers, who took the win with this great cross country ride and clear show jumping
7YO Championship
Leading the FEI-WBFSH World championship for 7-year-old horses are Josephine Schnaufer and Viktor 107 who finished second in the CCI2*-L at Blair Castle International in September as part of her preparation for this event
William Fox-Pitt and Grafennacht are currently in 11th place - they recently finished second in the 7-Year-Old Championship at Osberton International
In equal 11th place are Sweden's Ludwig Svennerstal and Magnolia who took the win in the Novice at Whitfield Horse Trials in April
And last year's 6 Year Old Champions - Kitty King and Cristal Fontaine are currently in 19th place of the 7 Year Old Championship but, as this video of the CCI3*-S at Belton International shows, they will be in their element on cross country
