Cycle4Caroline gets underway on 20th November, and you can join in by donating or even cycling!

The public will be welcome to join the final leg of the Cycle4Caroline ultra endurance cycle challenge, from Windsor Castle to The Savoy Hotel, and ride alongside some of the equestrian world’s biggest names as they cycle into London.

Cycle4Caroline, the ultra-endurance charity cycle ride, launched by Piggy and Tom March, gets underway on Wednesday 20th November. Starting, in potentially snowy conditions, at Blair Castle, Perthshire, the cycle ride is set to cover 1,200km and aims to raise £500,000 for Spinal Research and the British Eventing Support Trust.

Joining Piggy and Tom are, BE Support Trust Chair of the Board of Trustees and three-time Olympian Ian Stark OBE, Support Trust Patron Alastair Wilson, and multi-medallist Holly Woodhead.  Piggy’s sister Nini French, herself a top-level eventing rider, Brett Bullimore, husband of European Bronze medal winner Sarah Bullimore, and Racesafe’s Tommy How.  

Making the long trip from New Zealand to join the challenge is Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Research Trust founder in Catriona Williams MNZM.  Catriona was formerly one of New Zealand’s leading international equestrian riders. Following a riding accident in 2002, she is now C6/C7 tetraplegic and confined to a wheelchair.

A number of other special guests are due to be announced, along the way.

Blair Castle

What: Cycle4Caroline Start Line

When: 08:00-09:00 Wednesday 20th November 2024

Where: Blair Castle & Gardens, Blair Atholl, Pitlochry, Perthshire, PH18 5TL

Give the cyclists the biggest cheer and help them on their way as they start their epic 1,200km cycle challenge.  Meet the cyclists before they embark on their journey and wish them well.  Local rider Wills Oakden joins the ride to Lucinda Russell Racing on day one.


Belsay Castle

What:   Cycle 4 Caroline arriving at Belsay Hall & Castle

When: 14:00-16:00 Friday 22nd November 2024

Where: Belsay Hall & Castle, Belsay, Northumberland NE20 0DX

Join with horse trials supporters, sponsors, volunteers and local schools to welcome the equestrian heroes as they arrive at Belsay.

Badminton Park

What: Cycle through Badminton Park with the Cycle4Caroline team

When:     Thursday 28th November 2024 15:00 approx 

Where: Badminton Park, Badminton, Glos. GL9 1DF

Bring your bike, run alongside, or simply join the team in Badminton Village Hall for tea and cake, as they complete the final stages of the Cornbury Park to Badminton leg of the challenge.

Windsor Castle to London

What: Cycle the Windsor to London leg of the challenge

When: Saturday 30th November 2024 10:00 

Where: Ditton Park, Datchet.

The final leg 60km from Windsor to Central London, will start at Ditton Park before cycling past Windsor Castle and following the River Thames past Hampton Court Palace, and iconic London landmarks like Battersea Power Station, the Palace of Westminster and the London Eye before arriving at The Savoy in time for afternoon tea.   

Join with some special guest stars from the world of eventing, showjumping and social media and help raise awareness and vital funds for two key charities.
