Strzegom in Poland will once again play host to a large number of eventing combinations from around the world in 2025 with seven International Eventing competitions on the calendar.
The International classes across the season range from CCI1* to CCI4* in short and long format, with the two highlights being the FEI European Championships for Young Riders & Juniors in August and the FEI Eventing Nations Cup returning in June.
It is the second year in a row for Strzegom hosting the FEI European Championships for Young Riders & Juniors, after Great Britain took team and individual Young Rider gold medals there in 2024 and Germany dominated the Junior Championships.
The Nations Cup competition will be the third leg of seven on the 2025 FEI Eventing Nations Cup calendar; in 2024 France claimed the leg at Strzegom and went on to win the 2025 Series, well ahead of second placed Germany.
The organisers at Strzegom say that new hills and mounds have been added to the cross country course during the winter break and that the coffin fence has been ‘fundamentally refurbished’ and will be ready for use during the Strzegom Horse Trials in June.
Another big change is in the arena infrastructure as “We are building a new dressage arena which will enable us to run four dressage tests at the same time without compromising the comfort of warm up. It will also help to reduce the overall competition time”
