Jasmine Wilks and Harestone win at Berkshire College of Agriculture
25-year-old Jasmine Wilks had a good year both in competition and in the end of year rankings across various leader boards in Britain in 2018
The Kent based freelance eventing rider topped the British Eventing Foundation Points League (open to riders eligible for the Mitsubishi Motors Cup) with 234 points and 27 top ten placings this season
“I am so excited by this news and extremely proud that the hard work and dedication which has been put into the training and the events this year has paid off” said Jasmine “I couldn’t have done this on my own - I have a great network around me; my boyfriend, my family and close friends have all been extremely supportive, and that coupled with the consistent performance of the horses I have been riding throughout the year has all helped towards this fantastic achievement”
Jasmine also won the South East Eventers League BE100 Ranking, a win that was celebrated at the SEEL Annual Ball in November and finished in equal sixth place of the Tri-Star Eventing Series Saracen Horse Feeds Grassroots Bursary on Ashtown Lilly and Harestone
Included in the 27 top ten placings were BE100 wins for the eight-year-old mare Ashtown Lily at Eridge while the eight-year-old gelding Harestone took the top honours at Berkshire College of Agriculture, Stratford Hills and South of England International
