William Fox-Pitt and Graffenacht at Le Lion 2019
The organising committee of the Mondial du Lion, in agreement with the Fédération Française d'Equitation and the FEI, has confirmed that the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Eventing Championships for Young Horses will take place at Le Lion d’Angers in France from October 15th to 18th in 2020
Sophie Cellier, technical director of the Mondial du Lion says that “The qualification and preparation of horses will be more complicated than in other years but it is a relief for the development of the 6 and 7 year old generations of horses. We want to rediscover the spirit that drives us all: conviviality, sport and extraordinary moments shared all together. You will contribute to making the Mondial 2020 an extraordinary and memorable edition!”
The organisers say that, now it has been established that the event will go ahead and the dates, the priority is to prepare adequate security conditions for the different audiences to be received and are working on ‘implementing protocols allowing the reception of athletes, support teams and spectators’
The ticket office is expected to open in June
