The penultimate competition on the 2020 FEI Nations Cup calendar, Waregem in Belgium has cancelled its event which was to run from 10th -13th September 2020
The event that has been running since 1980 has hosted a Nations Cup each year since 2014
“Having considered all options and following the government’s latest comments on restrictions due to the COVOD-19 outbreak, it is with great regret that we announce the cancelation of the 2020 Eventing Waregem Horse Trials.
We are deeply disappointed and sad not to be able to put on the event that we have been planning and preparing but the health and safety of our visitors, competitors, sponsors, exhibitors, officials, volunteers and contractors is our absolute priority”
The dates for next year have been set as Thursday 9th September to Sunday 12th September 2021
