Lignières in France will host the French leg of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ from 26th -29th September 2024, replacing the original application by Haras de Jardy, following a decision taken by the FEI Board on 18th January.
Haras de Jardy, which was recently announced as a venue for the Paris 2024 Torch Relay on 24th July, had not confirmed their dates but were expected to host the French leg early in the season. It will be the first time that Lignières will host the Nations Cup for France with Fontainebleau, Haras du Pin and Haras de Jardy having previously acted as venues since the FEI Eventing Nations Cup inception in 2012.
Lignières will now host the penultimate leg later in the season, two weeks before the Nations Cup Final in Boekelo from 10th – 13th October.
This will be the only French leg of the Nations Cup, which will consist of eight legs, all on the European/UK circuit following the withdrawal of Bromont in Canada for 2024.
