Kitty King topped the leader board in the CCI 2*L (Section A) on Thursday at the Saracen Horse Feeds Houghton International Horse Trials and on Friday she took the top spot in the CCIO4*-S riding her British team Tokyo-nominated horse Vendredi Biats
Kitty now leads on a score of 24, just ahead of yesterday’s leader Alex Hua Tian on Jilsonne Van Bareelhof.
In the CCI2*-L Kitty did slip into second place today but has been replaced by another King – Emily King riding Imposant with a score of 23.9
We’ll be back with more photos, a wrap up across the classes and interviews with cross country course designer Alec Lochore (wouldn’t you love to ride on turf seeded in 1770?) and Henry Symington, in charge of Cross Country Control at Houghton and Burnham Market, who talks about the challenges of managing Control in very different environments ….
