Australia's Sam Lyle and BF Valour will be competing at Boekelo
Germany leads the way on the FEI Nations Cup Leaderboard with a total of 380 points as the final leg of the series gets underway at Boekelo in the Netherlands this week from 6th – 9th October
Ballindenisk (IRE) was meant to be the most recent leg of the Series but, as only two teams (Britain and Ireland) competed rather than the mandatory three or above, it did not count towards points. No doubt Britain, the winners at Ballindenisk, are rueing that as the 100 points for the win would have moved them from current sixth place (250 points) into third
13 countries (AUS, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Britain, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden and USA) but not all of those will be fielding a team. The only team nomination so far is the USA with their team consisting of;
James Alliston riding Nemesis
Liz Halliday-Sharp riding Miks Master C
Boyd Martin riding Fedarman B
Alyssa Phillips riding Oskar
17 combinations are listed from Britain, including the new World Champion Yasmin Ingham riding Rehy DJ and seven from Germany including recent team gold medallist Sandra Auffarth, this time riding Rosveel
Australia will not be fielding a team but has Sam Lyle riding BF Valour as an individual. Sam was called up as the travelling reserve for the Australian team at Pratoni so missed competing at Blenheim International but will now get a start at Boekelo instead
New Zealand has five entries with Tim Price riding Happy Boy and Jonelle on board Faerie Magnifico and Kilbunny Andy alongside Amanda Pottinger on Good Timing and Dan Jocelyn on Blackthorn Cruise
Libby Law is on the ground for us in the Netherlands and we’ll be bringing you daily updates, starting with the first horse inspection on Wednesday
