While the CCI4* competitors haven’t even had their first horse inspection at Les Etoiles de Pau in France, the CIC2* were off and running on Wednesday with, appropriately, a French rider in the lead

Clara Loiseau currently holds the lead riding Frans Hals on a score of 25.1 ahead of another French combination, Alexis Goury on Vidocq De Tael (26.4) while New Zealand’s Caroline Powell on Flipper K have put their best foot forward for the internationals in third place
The 4* starts with the trot up early today so stay tuned ……..
