The Jung family will be visiting Australia in May
Michael Jung has a busy year lined up. Not only is it a World Championship year for eventing but Michael also has his Nations Cup show jumping debut for Germany coming up in February plus a trip Down Under in May
Sadly, it’s unlikely we’ll see the maestro in the saddle during his time in Australia as he is making the visit with his family for the wedding of his older brother Philip. Philip, who was a talented dressage rider in his younger years in Germany, now lives in Canada where he is part of the management team of the skincare company La Biosthetique (ring any bells?)
Philip is marrying Australian born Louise Fell and the wedding ceremony will take place in two countries
“The first part of the wedding takes place in Louise's native Australia, the second end of May in Altheim” Michael told Thomas Borgmann of reitturniere.de
Badminton in early May is still firmly in Michael’s sights however and he will be looking to claim back the title he won in 2016 on the now 18 year old La Biosthetique Sam
