Sweden, one of the ten nations that has qualified teams in all three disciplines for Paris 2024, has announced its Olympic teams, including an all-girl eventing team of four.

"It's a team of incredibly tough and cool girls" says team captain Fredrik Bergendorff, who announced the team of Frida Andersén riding Box Leo, Louise Romeike riding Caspian and Sofia Sjöborg riding Bryjamolga vh Marienshof Z with the Reserve as Malin Asai/Golden Midnight

“Everyone is fast on the cross country, and I think the track in Paris will suit us well. We also have a strength in the last day's showjumping, where all the horses are generally good jumpers” adds Fredrik.

Sweden last won an Olympic medal at London 2012, with Sara Algtosson Ostholt riding Wega taking individual silver.
