Four team combinations and a longlist have been named by the Swiss Equestrian Federation for Paris 2024. The four named as team members are:
Robin Godel riding Grandeur de Lully CH (owner & breeder: Jean-Jacques Fünfschilling)
Mélody Johner riding Toubleu de Rueire (owners: Peter Thürler & Heinz-Günter Wickenhäuser)
Nadja Minder riding Toblerone CH (owner: Nicole Basieux; breeder: Eric Attiger)
Felix Vogg riding Dao de l’Océan (owner: Phoenix Eventing Sàrl)
All four combinations will travel to Paris with the final team of three and reserve combination to be confirmed at a later date.
Robin Godel (25), Mélodie Johner (40) and Felix Vogg (34) were members of the Swiss team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games while Felix took part in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games as an individual.
It will be the first Olympic Games for 24-year-old Nadja Minder (24), who was part of the Swiss team at the 2022 World Championships in Pratoni and the 2023 European Championships at Haras Le Pin.
The team will be supported by Chef d’Equipe Dominik Burger, veterinarian Antonia Müller, dressage coach Gilles Ngovan, cross coach Andrew Nicholson and jumping coach Markus Fuchs.
An additional longlist will also be part of the final nominations in case of late substitutions.
