Berkshire College of Agriculture not only provides great facilities for its Equine Studies students but is also a popular venue for the June British Eventing affiliated competition run by BEDE Events
After a couple of years of Covid-cancellations, things are back to normal this weekend and the event features Novice, Open Novice and BE100 classes on Saturday and BE100 Open, BE90 Open U18 and BE90 classes on Sunday
While some competitors are busy at another ‘B’ event further north at Bramham Park, BCA has attracted riders such as Britain’s Bubby Upton and Tina Cook, New Zealand’s Samantha Lissington and Clarke Johnstone and Brazil’s Ruy Fonseca
The College boasts a large indoor arena with Martin Collins surface, but the show jumping for BCA Horse Trials is all held on the outdoor arena and the course, which runs over gently undulating permanent pasture, includes a water pond in all classes and is designed to be a fair test for less experienced horses
We’re filming all riders on cross country and you can also follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for video snippets and more during the event
