Five Advanced sections will see many talented horses and riders at Aston-Le-Walls (3) this week. The highlight of three days of eventing from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st at Washbrook Farm, this event has attracted some of last week’s team gold medallists at the FEI Eventing European Young Rider Championships in the Advanced U25 class while, at the more senior end of the scale, the recent Barbury 3* champions, Andrew Nicholson and As Is are competing in one of the two Advanced sections 8/9 Year Old sections
New Zealand’s Nick Brooks riding For Fame and Australia’s Christine Bates are two visiting riders competing in the Advanced; Christine is happily re-united with Adelaide Hill who remained in the UK after sustaining an injury last year in the lead up to the World Equestrian Games
