Alnwick Ford International Horse Trials 2024 – order or view XC Videos here
Alnwick Ford International Horse Trials 2024 is ready to go with the first competitors in the CCI3*-S and CCI2*-S trotting down the centreline from 8:30am on Thursday 20th June.
There are four days of eventing action coming up with not just the International classes (including a CCI1* - new for 2024) but also a raft of national sections catering for competitors from BE80 to Open Intermediate plus Six-Year-Old and Seven-Year-Old classes. Spectators are welcome (£5 per person or £10 per car) at the Northumberland venue with trade and food stands open from Thursday.
Alnwick Ford International is also part of the Northumberland Challenge which offers a total prize pot of £61,000 and this year extends to grassroots riders competing at BE100 level as well as the CCI3* and CCI2* Challenges, so plenty of chances to win some good money!
All cross country courses are designed by top designer David Evans with the start once again being on other side of the valley this year, incorporating a new loop that was successfully integrated into the course in 2023. There will be subtle differences between the BE Intermediate/Novice tracks and the FEI CCI 3*-S/CCI 2*-S tracks while the brand new CCI 1* track will be a good introduction to the International level.
We’re filming all competitors on cross country so check back next week to see how the course rode and who won what! Plus keep an eye on our social media channels for XC Video snippets during the next few days …
