Osberton International & Young Horse Championships - order or view videos here
Due to the exceptional circumstances surrounding Covid-19, Osberton International will take place at Thoresby Park, for one year only, from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th October
As usual, Osberton (or Thoresberton International as it has now been dubbed) will host the British Eventing Six and Seven-Year-Old Young Horse Championships while the Five-Year-Old Championships will take place a few weeks later at Oasby (2) on 24-25 October and the Four Year-Old-Championship will be showcased in a different format
Last year’s Five-Year-Old Champion, Codebreaker ridden by Eliza Stoddart, is back to contest the CCI2*-S Six-Year-Old Championship while the CCI3*-S Seven-Year-Old Championship sees the very in-form I Diablo Joe, ridden by Piggy March, and World Champion Ros Canter riding Lordships Parc Royale amongst many very talented combinations coming forward
Three sections of both the CCI2*-L and CCI3*-L are also packed with talent including the well-known names of Zara Tindall, William Fox-Pitt, Harry Meade, Emily King and Nicola Wilson.
“It is great to be heading to Osberton in what has been, to say the least, an unusual year” says Nicola “It will be interesting competing at Thoresby Park as it is a new venue and one we were looking forward to competing at in March this year until it had to be cancelled.
"The BEDE team always put on a great event and well done to them for doing everything they can to run Osberton International, which is well known as an end of season celebration with a brilliant atmosphere”
