After Washbrook Farm has hosted several events run so far this season at lower levels and Unaffiliated, the big guns come out to play at Aston-Le-Walls (3) in July
The Advanced courses, which will include new fences, are well built and designed to suit horses running for the first time at this level and the Dassett Eventing 8/9YO Advanced class is open to qualified horses foaled in 2010 or 2011. This class is also offering extended prize money (1 in 4 starters, with £4,000 prize pool) and prizes for the best placed Irish horse and for grooms/owners.
While the normal Advanced class that starts on Saturday will use the standard BE dressage test, the Sunday Advanced Section will incorporate the 4* dressage test to be used at the FEI Senior European Championships in August. You can pretty much bet that Team GB hopefuls will be using it to put their horses through their paces in a test environment and that this class will be chock a block of European-bound combinations
