Bishop Burton International Horse Trials 2024 and Youth Eventing Championships – XC Videos
While Bishop Burton hosts several British Eventing competitions each year at its College in Beverley, East Yorkshire, this event is the big one on the calendar. The Bishop Burton International, taking place from 24th – 28th July incorporates the 2024 Young Rider and Junior Championships at CCI2*-L level plus the British Championship for Under 18’s at BE100 Open level and Pony Trial 105.
The Youth Championships give younger riders the chance to gain experience of competing at a prestigious championship and the honour of representing with both team and individual titles awarded.
It all kicks off on Wednesday 24th July with the first horse inspection, rider briefing, the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Barbeque (sounds similar to the Olympic Games, but Paris 2024 is very much lacking the BBQ!)
Dressage takes place on Thursday and Friday, cross country on Saturday before the second horse inspection, showjumping and presentations on Sunday.
