Entries are now open for Brightling Park Horse Trials, to be held on 29th & 30th June 2024.
Brightling Park in East Sussex is the perfect venue to host national level British Eventing classes from BE80 to Open Novice including classes at BE80 and BE90 Open for U18 riders.
BE100 competitors at Brightling will also be able to participate in the Agria Lifetime Equine BE100 League run throughout the season by BEDE Events and there is also the chance to compete in the new team competition launching at this year’s Catton Park. Find out more here
The Brightling Park cross country course underwent a facelift on its return to the British Eventing in 2023 and boasts two water complexes along with some great viewing for spectators. Designed as encouraging courses, Brightling has rolling hills to gallop across with some of the steeper inclines removed.
And in a new initiative, BEDE Events are offering a start fee refund for those entering whose horses have been affected by two or more abandonments in the 2024 season.
“We understand the trials that the weather has presented everyone this season, riders, owners and organisers alike” says BEDE Events’ Stuart Buntine “We have all been battling it, and we understand many riders have taken a financial hit with the abandonments. We understand this is not a huge amount but hope it will go some way to helping you all in your future events.

Entries for all Brightling Park classes open on 20th May with a Ballot Date of 21st May so get your entries in!
