Burnham Market (2) Horse Trials may not have the International classes of its big brother, Burnham Market International at the start of the season but this year it has had additional classes approved by the FEI added to its schedule
British Eventing has confirm that the application to host a TCN2*-S and TCN3*-S at Burnham Market (2), Norfolk, has been approved; the TCN3*-S will take place on Saturday 14 September and the TCN2*-S will take place on Sunday 15 September 2019
Alec Lochore, Director of Musketeer Event Management explained that “Following the sad loss of Somerford Park International, we are delighted to offer riders with an another opportunity to gain their MER’s with the addition of TCN2*-S and a TCN3*-S at Burnham Market (2), riders will not be limited to a set number of rides and we are happy to move entries which have already been made.”
Burnham Market is an all grass course on well drained undulating farmland in a hilly part of Norfolk which provides fantastic viewing for spectators and good going for the competitors across varied jump complexes. It is hoped to have several changes to the course for the Autumn fixture and ‘every effort will be made to ensure good going’
This event is also part of the Tri-Star Eventing Series Saracen Horse Feeds Grass Roots League and the Tri-Star Fairfax Saddles Novice League.
