An Eventful Life will be filming all competitors on cross country at
Burnham Market (2) and Burnham Market (3) 2020
The British Eventing Fixtures Panel and FEI have approved a re-allocation of the CCI4*-L and CCI4*-S for 8 & 9-Year-Old Horses classes normally run at the SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials.
These classes will be run by Musketeer Event Management at an additional Burnham Market Horse Trials, on 17-20 September
“This is excellent news, and it will give combinations a much-needed opportunity to gain important MERs following the sad cancellation of this year’s SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials” says Jude Matthews, BE CEO
“The classes will move back to Blenheim Palace in 2021, but British Eventing – and, I’m sure, many competitors and owners - are very grateful to Alec Lochore and the team at Burnham Market for hosting them this year.”
Event Director Alec Lochore says that "We are obviously very happy to be able to step in and fill the gap following the demise of this year's Blenheim Palace Horse Trials due to the Covid-19 epidemic. Whilst it will be a very different event to Blenheim, not least due to Covid, we are looking forward to providing the opportunity for owners, riders and horses to benefit from a run at this level, over suitably challenging and educational courses."
Burnham Market (1) International, which was to take place in April 2020, was cancelled due to Covid-19
Burnham Market (2) will run as normal the weekend prior on September 12th & 13th
