Caroline Bell, the overall winner of the BE100 class on Sir Castor Troy, was surprised when she discovered that she had qualified to take part in the BE100 Eventer Challenge sponsored by Dodson & Horrell at the SsangYong Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, thinking that maybe it was a joke from her friends
“I’m pretty terrible at the dressage phase (me, not him), we’ve had double clears and been in the top ten but we’ve just missed out on wins”
However Caroline and Sir Castor Troy did not miss out on this occasion with their accurate timing combined with a clear jumping round, making them the overall winner of the BE100 Eventer Challenge
“We went out to try and get a clear round but then my competitive streak kicked in when I was in there and I started looking at the clock”
