The Cotswold Cup Series began just three years’ ago but has become one of the most popular, albeit regional, Unaffiliated eventing series in England.

As a Cotswold-based series, it is fitting that the beautiful venue of Cirencester Park should host its end-of-year Finals and for the third year running, this will take place this year from 27th – 29th September.

Talking to the winners last year, it was clear that there were many benefits to this series but one of the most popular features was its long format Final. Having qualified throughout the year, the top 50 combinations at each level are eligible to compete at the Championships.

Senior combinations at 80cm, 90cm and 100cm compete in a traditional three-day-event, long-format, complete with roads and tracks and steeplechase, with show jumping on the final day (Friday 27th – Sunday 29th), Junior combinations at 80cm, 90cm and 100m compete in a traditional two-day-event with the roads-and-tracks, steeplechase and cross-country on the final day (Sat 28th & Sun 29th) and there is also a 70cm Championship, run as a traditional one-day-event (Sunday 29th).

And, while the Championships are only for those that have qualified throughout the series, Open classes running the same formats are open to everyone, making it a great weekend for many competitors.

We’ll be filming all competitors on cross country and bringing you snippets each day on our socials plus of course a full wrap-up afterwards!
