South Of England (1) 2021 - view or order videos here
Kevin McNab may be on the countdown to Kentucky with one of his top horses, Scuderia 1918 Don Quidam, but it was another of the young Scuderia-owned horses that took the win at the South of England (1) on Saturday
The seven-year-old mare Cute Girl, who Kevin competed at Le Mondial du Lion Young Horse World Championships last year, won the Novice Section E on Saturday during a slightly damp Saturday in Sussex.
Two very good dressage scores posted by Gordon Murphy riding Dos Tory Wood (21) and Team Windrush’s Will Furlong riding Patito (21.8) had Kevin in third place on a score of 23 after the dressage but they moved up to take the win with a clear show jumping round and just 4.4 time penalties on cross country
It was a good day at the South of England Showgrounds for Gemma Tattersall too, taking two wins with Chilli Rocks in the BE100 Section A and Novice Section F on board Johan-some and Gemma was on flying form with both horses winning on their dressage scores
We'll have our full wrap-up from this event next week and don't forget to stay tuned to our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for video snippets and more during the weekend ...
