It is an exciting year for the NAF Five Star Hartpury International which will not only host the usual classes at CCI2*, 3* and 4* levels but this year also hosts the prestigious British National Championships.
Entries are now open, and organisers are urging competitors to check all information on the Hartpury website as the late addition of the British National Championships has resulted in some significant changes to timetabling and stabling this year.
The addition of the British Open Championship, British Intermediate Championship, British Novice Championship, British Novice Restricted Novice Championship (Corinthian Cup), and Retrained Racehorse Championship, means that an extra day of cross country action will take place on Sunday 11th August.
Course designer Eric Winter traditionally builds the 4* to help prepare horses for Blenheim or Burghley and this year he will also be designing additional courses specifically for the British Championship classes.
