The first thing to say about the 2020 Swalcliffe Park Horse Trials is get your entry in before ballot date because there is a fantastic prize up for grabs!
The event organisers are offering a 5 night stay in a luxury villa in Portugal and all you need to do is simply enter the horse trials before the ballot date of 12 noon on Tuesday 25th February 2020 and start at the Horse Trials in March for your name to go into the prize draw. For terms and conditions please see the Swalcliffe Park website
Having entered and started you’ll find that the Swalcliffe Park courses, designed and built by Olympic course builders David Evans and Swalcliffe Park Director Richard Taylor, set out to educate and encourage both horse and rider. The course is suitable for first timers with a good variety of educational fences for young horses and the cross country runs over undulating permanent pasture, well drained grassland and provides an exciting viewing course for spectators.
There will be BE80(T) Trainer Amanda Holloway on hand for those requiring advice in the BE80(T) sections and there is plenty for the younger riders to get their teeth into with BE90 and BE100 Open classes for Under 18’s always proving popular
