Ingrid Klimke and SAP Hale Bob competing at the 2020 Nations Cup in Strzegom
Despite Covid-19, Strzegom Horse Trials in Poland has seen the cream of eventing riders competing at its venue in 2020
Strzegom, which hosted the FEI Senior European Championships in 2017, is now introducing a new initiative for younger riders named the European Youth Eventing Masters at the Strzegom October Festival, to take place from 8th – 11th October
The European Youth Eventing Masters will include a class for each youth age category – Ponies, Juniors and Young Riders. The athletes will compete in CCIOP2*-L (Ponies), CCIO2*-L (Juniors) and CCIO3*-L (Young Riders) and will be designed along the lines of Nations Cup classes with each competition including teams of 3-4 riders.
“Our goal is to give young riders a chance to compete individually and as a team, apart from championship events. We hope that the riders will find the show interesting, because we would like to host it in Strzegom during the coming years” says Marcin Konarski, chair of the Organising Committee
