Louisa Milne-Home's tartan outfit at Blair Castle
Horse inspections at major events may be in some ways about the horses, but in others, it's definitely about the riders!
This week we'll be watching the top riders strut their stuff on the runway at the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and eyeing their outfits, but there is one event that always a quite different theme due to its location - Blair Castle in Scotland

At Blair, there is always plenty of tartan on show along with some glitz and glamour. This year we loved Rosa Onslow’s shimmering coat (and her stunning horse Diamond Sundance), Sarah Holmes’ smart blue jacket which tapered at the back and Emilie Chandler’s white and blue jacket (which turned out to be her ‘lucky outfit’) but it was Louisa Milne Home’s outfit which really took the biscuit – or maybe that should be shortbread ….
