Young German riders seem to enjoy the cross country course at Floors Castle International
In 2018 Germany’s Antonia Baumgart won the CIC1* at Floors Castle International while in 2019, it was a another young German rider who took the main international class, this time the CCI3*-S at the scenic event in the Scottish borders
In 2019 Emma Bruessau and her 10-year-old black mare Dark Desire GS led after the dressage phase, show jumped clear and then came home clear and under time on the cross country to finish on their fabulous dressage score of 18.6
Both young German riders showed great cross country style, no doubt partly thanks to the fact that they both spent time with Chris Bartle at the Yorkshire Riding Centre before tackling the beautiful course at Floors Castle
