After the sad cancellation of Chatsworth International Horse Trials, at least there is one great northern event going ahead this weekend with Frenchfield (1) Horse Trials in Cumbria full steam ahead.
“The ground is in great shape” says organiser Douglas Weymouth, who has been keeping every up to date on social media since entries opened. The hard work has paid off with Frenchfield (1) entries overflowing across the classes on 18th and 19th May.
While the event is very popular with lower level competitors, it also attracts the best in the business with Emily King and Holly Richardson backing up from Badminton with young horses here.
The event is also part of the Arena Saddles Novice League and the Agria 100 League run by BEDE Events and offering generous prizes for the top three in league at the end of season plus a pathway to the CCI2*-L and the CCI1*-Intro at Osberton International (2) Horse Trials in October.
