Kristina Hall-Jackson and her Badminton entered horse CMS Google took out the win in the Advanced Intermediate at Kelsall Hill International (1) on Saturday as a great final preparation for the big event in two weeks’ time. An additional bonus came with her second place in the same class on Hawk Eye, a previous ride of Nicola Wilson
“It’s not very often you have such a good day in the office!” said Kristina on her social media “Absolutely over the moon with both horses today producing PB’s in their dressage tests followed by double clears”, adding “A huge thank you has to go to Pippa Funnell as her hours of teaching me certainly paid off today!”
And it was Pippa Funnell who was right behind Kristina in the results with third and fourth places on MGH Grafton Street and Billy Wonder and also taking seventh place on Majas Hope, who is also heading to Badminton
Australians were in the winner’s circle too with Bill Levett riding Sligo Candy Cane winning the Open Intermediate Section D on a fabulous score of 20 while Andrew Hoy was third in the CCI3*-S on Bloom Des Hauts Crets and ninth on Vassily De Lassos in the class won by Tom Woodward riding Jaeger Master
