Larkhill Horse Trials - order or view videos here
We’re very excited to be having our first visit to Larkhill Horse Trials this weekend!
Held at Larkhill Racecourse on 6th and 7th April, Larkhill Horse Trials hosts British Eventing national level competition classes from BE90 to Intermediate Novice with Saturday hosting classes at BE100, Novice and Intermediate Novice plus a Pony Trial and the BE90 competitors, including GO BE, joining the BE100 classes on Sunday.
The event takes place on the grounds of the Larkhill Racecourse, with the rolling chalk downlands of Salisbury Plain providing good ground on well drained old turf, even in bad weather. The show jumping is designed by Sean Whitelock and the strong galloping cross-country course, designed by John Hoare and incorporating a new water complex and many new fences, will run in opposite direction to last year.
The Wiltshire location and well-draining ground make it a popular event and this year is no exception; entries for both days and waitlists are full and, while it is a national event, there are several big names competing on younger horses including Tim and Jonelle Price, William Fox-Pitt, Tom McEwen, Andrew Nicholson and many more in the line-up.
We’ll be filming all competitors on cross country, plus snippets during the event and of course a full wrap up with comments from the winners after the event. See you there and don’t forget to smile at the camera!
