An Eventful Life is filming all competitors on cross country at
The NAF Five Star Hartpury International 2022
We’re heading back to Hartpury College and University in Gloucestershire this weekend for the NAF Five Star Hartpury International, just two weeks after Britain scored double team gold there in the FEI European Eventing Championships for Juniors and Young Riders
This time we’ll be seeing some of the best of the British competing again, this time at CCI4* level with Ros Canter, Kitty King, Tom McEwen, Sarah Bullimore, Piggy March and Izzy Taylor, to name just some of the hot favourites in the NAF Magic CCI-S 4*
They have some Antipodean competition in the guise of Australia’s Bill Levett, who has three horses entered, while New Zealand’s Clarke Johnstone has two, including Rockingham watch winner Menlo Park. Bundy Philpott riding Tresca NZPH and Clayton Fredericks will be flying the Australian flag on board FE Coldplay as part of their European campaign
There will also be competition at CCI-L 2* and CCI-L 3* levels with the first horse inspection taking place on Wednesday, along with the Dubarry Burghley Young Event Horse Qualifier before dressage gets underway on Thursday and Friday for all classes
The competition for the NAF Magic CCI-S 4* completes on Saturday with show jumping followed by the cross country
The CCI2* and 3* competitors also head out on cross country on Saturday, followed by the final horse inspection and show jumping on Sunday
Why not come along and join in the action? Tickets are available here or you can follow the live scoring here
