A new BE100 League with points earned towards major prizes at the end of the year and a final at Osberton International has been launched by BEDE Events
The Agria Lifetime Equine BE100 League is open to registered members of British Eventing who have not competed at Intermediate or above in the previous five years.
Points can be collected by a horse and rider combination in any BE100 division across the six qualification events and the finale (GO BE classes will not count towards point allocations)
Once competitors have pre-registered, they can collect points at the following BEDE events;
• Oasby (1): 9th to 12th March (entries open 8th February)
• Agria Shelford (1): 28th – 30th May
• BCA: 10th – 11th June
• Catton Park:17th – 19th June
• Brightling Park: 1st – 2nd July
• Agria Shelford (2): 26th – 28th August
• Osberton International: 27th Sept – 1st October – CCI1* Final
Points will be allocated upon completion (3 points), clear show jumping (2 points) and clear cross country, without jumping penalties (2 points)
Those who meet the MER (Minimum Eligibility Requirements) on three occasions may enter the CCI1* at Osberton, at which points will be awarded for placings: 15 points to the winner, 14 points to the runner up, and so on, with 15th place receiving one point, while all double clears (no jumping penalties in either jumping phase) will receive a two-point bonus.
“The new CCI1*, at Osberton, will run with showjumping as the final phase and will give the riders a great destination fixture to end the season with” says Stuart Buntine of BEDE Events. The League prize-giving will be held alongside the CCI1* prize-giving in the main arena.
Agria will be enhancing the prize pot for these events with an enhanced cash prize fund for the series totalling £1500, a BEDE exclusive “Agria Sponsored Rider package” for one year (to include branded kit, photoshoot etc) for the overall winner, an Agria-branded Bucas rug to the overall winner and a training session with one of Agria’s four sponsored British Team riders for overall winner
