Scottish Grassroots Eventing Festival Blair Castle 2022
While the five international classes at the 2022 Land Rover Blair Castle International attracts many of the best riders in the UK, often including Olympic and world medallists, there is also some serious Championship competition going on at the lower levels
The Scottish Grassroots Eventing Festival at Blair Castle is a highlight of the year for riders at BE90 and BE100 levels with National BE90 and 100 classes running on Friday 26th August, which riders do not have to qualify for.
The big event however for grassroots riders takes place on Saturday 27th August 2022 and Sunday 28th August with the prestigious BE90 and BE100 Scottish Championships, which can only be contested by qualified combinations
There will be differences between the National and Championship cross country courses which run over beautiful lower levels of the Castle’s parkland turf, giving riders and horses a taste of the classic Blair courses without too many of the hills!
Dressage for the Championship classes takes place on Saturday with cross country and show jumping on Sunday when the new Scottish Grassroots Champions will be crowned!
