14-year-old James Houlden from Perth in Scotland may have been one of the youngest riders on course at Floors Castle International Horse Trials but he was one of the winners of the five BE90 Sections held on Sunday
James, riding Heronsmill Tigers Eye, won the Michael Wares BE90 Section M on their dressage score of 29, coming in bang on optimum time on cross country, at just their second British Eventing competition together
Emma Little and Alencon
While some of the BE90 classes were very close calls, James won with a margin of approximately five penalties, as did Henny Cooper and Lots of Lux, winners of the Brooks BE90 Section N and Emma Little and Alecon winners of the Charity BE90 Section O.
Helen Self Dodd and Sarah Dow finished the Section P on the same score of 25.5 but Helen took the win riding Toledo R thanks to being closer to optimum time on cross country and Kerri Dow won the Café BE90 Open Section P1 riding Cowling Faer and Square
Shonagh A Robb and Platinum Crackers, third place in the BE90 Section O
