Tickets are now available for the 2021 Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, which takes place between Thursday 16th and Sunday 19th September.
After a year’s hiatus due to Covid-19 and a competitive tender process that saw The Jockey Club awarded a five-year contract as organisers, the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials will take place again in 2021.
This year’s competition will be subject to Government protocols and safety guidelines in place at the time, but the new organisers are confident that spectators will be allowed at the event to take place from 16th – 19th September and the ticket sales are now underway.
The fixture will include the usual CCI4*-L (Four-Star Long) and CCI4*-S for eight and nine year old horses (Four-Star Short). The 2019 CCI4*-L competition was won by Piggy March, with her then 10-year-old gelding, Brookfield Inocent and the 2019 CCI4*-S was won by Australian Chris Burton and his nine-year-old, Clever Louis.
Ian Renton, regional managing director of The Jockey Club, commented “The Jockey Club was delighted to secure a five-year contract to organise the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials and lots of work has already taken place to ensure that we will deliver an event to be proud of.
“Today we take a significant step forward with the launch of the website and tickets going on sale. The website contains a wealth of information for those interested in attending along with a wide range of ticketing options to suit all tastes and budgets.”
A full range of tickets, starting from just £13 when booked in advance, can be booked online. Weekly passes are also available, as well as a number of hospitality packages which begin at £100. All tickets must be booked in advance.
In line with the admission policy at all venues operated by The Jockey Club, those aged 17 years and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. This is a significant boost for families attending the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials as previously only under 12s were admitted for free.
