Cumbria Horse Trials is looking forward to welcoming a record number of Novice competitors to their 65th horse trial since 2006 at Warwick Hall (2) this weekend
“We’re pleased to report the ground is in good shape with the Main Arena moved to its usual June location with plenty of grass cover, and as is usual, all the discipline areas will be equivated in the final hours before the event” say event organisers, Lucinda and Douglas Weymouth
Light rain yesterday will also freshen the sandy going and the competitors will be travelling around the beautifully built XC courses in the reverse direction to Warwick Hall (1).
“Despite a slow uptake for entries pre-ballot date (which is becoming a norm at present and threatening the viability of a number of events in the British Eventing calendar), a full programme of classes has been secured for Warwick Hall (2)”
