Piggy March’s Badminton winner Vanir Kamira became the first mare to win the CCI4* at Hartpury on Saturday after finishing the cross country course on her dressage score of 26.4
Kitty King claimed third place in the CCI-S 4* at the NAF Five Star Hartpury International on Saturday but on Sunday she stood on top of the podium for the NAF M Power CCI2*-L.
Riding RHS Monbeg Marshall, Kitty finished the class with a clear round in the show jumping, taking the win on their dressage score of 29.4.
China’s Alex Hua Tian also led the NAF Superflex CCI3-L from the start, but one rail in the final phase on the experienced Jillsonne van Bareelhof didn’t stop them from taking the win on a score of 29.4. But it was a close thing with young Ellie Fredericks jumping clear on Pure Trendsetter for second place (30.3) and Emily Young-Jamieson took third riding OBOS Nidge (30.5)
