Around the world of eventing

Jake Barham presents Cadbury KSNZ for Abbey Thompson at Puhinui International Three Day Event 2020

New Zealand

Jake Barham won his first international CCI4*-S at Puhinui, near Auckland in New Zealand, where we hope to be able to return for the CCI4*-L later this year. Jake and his 15-year-old Australian thoroughbred Atlan moved up from fifth place after the dressage while one rail in the show jumping and the fastest cross country ride of the class bagged them the win.

Abigail Long and Cruising Guy took second place and Abby Lawrence on Anonymous rounded out the top three.

Clarke Johnstone and Balmoral Sensation led after the dressage but withdrew after the first phase.

Kyle Calder riding Apertyx continued their winning ways in the CCI3*-S and Heelan Tompkins took the CCI2*-S riding CP Aurelio
