Australian wins at Bromont

Ryan Wood has a stable full o fgood horses at the moment - seen here on McLovin at Rolex Kentucky earlier this year

US based Australian riders Ryan Wood and Dom Schramm flew the Australian flag high at the Jaguar Land Rover Bromont in Canada last weekend

While some Australian riders were at the Melbourne International 3 Day Event and others at Bramham International, Ryan won not only the CCI3* but also the CIC3* and Dom won the CCI1* at the venue of the 2018 World Equestrian Games – could this be an omen?

Ryan won the CCI3* on the nine year old chestnut gelding Woodstock Bennett while the 12 year old thoroughbred gelding Frankie won the CIC3*. Ryan is on a bit of a roll at the moment, having also won CCI3* at Jersey Fresh on the 10 year old black gelding Powell while Dom claimed his first ever international win

We’ll be bringing you more about the US based Aussies soon but let’s take a look at Ryan’s winning ways on video
