The FEI has postponed its multi-discipline Asian Championships, which was due to be held at Pattaya in Thailand in December 2023
The decision taken at the Board Meeting II at the FEI General Assembly in Cape Town is the result of the postponement of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, which is now scheduled to take place in China from 23rd September – 8th October 2023
The Hangzhou Asian Games, which were postponed to 2023 due to China’s ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, will host competitions in show jumping, dressage and eventing, the disciplines also contested at the FEI Asian Championships
Pattaya in Thailand will now host the FEI Asian Games in 2025 on the proposed dates of December 1st – 14th 2025
The second Board Meeting also approved Baborowka in Poland (18th – 21st May 2023) as an FEI Olympic Group Qualification Event for Paris 2024 for Eventing
