It was all change in the Britt Grovenor Photography CCI4*-S after cross country at Tamworth International Eventing on Sunday with Andrew Cooper riding Sharvalley Thunder claiming the top spot. The only rider to make the time on the 4* cross country (twice!) Andrew and Sharvalley Thunder finished on their dressage score of 35.10, ahead of Shane Rose riding The Bandit (39.60) and last year’s winners, Catie Herbert and Wimborne Constable in third (40.9).

Fellow Queenslander Georgia Rohde also made the journey worthwhile, winning the Amy-Sue Alston Photography CCI3*-S riding Cassio Xtreme, her CCI3*-L winner from the 2024 Queensland Three Day Event. The pair scooted around the Stuart Tinney designed track, finishing with just 0.8 time penalties for a win on 33.5, ahead of Judy Clarke riding Oaks Quasimodo and Zach Thorne riding Wu Gok.

Niki Rose led two FEI classes on Saturday but went home with just one rug today (still not a bad effort!) winning the Red Aussie Co Photography CCI2*-S riding Cooley All Over but it was a very close finish with Stuart Tinney riding Caruso and Charlotte Lalak riding Fairbanks Casino very close behind.

Grace O’Toole riding Smooch and Lydia Proctor riding Sandhills Style took the CCN1* A & B Sections. We’ll be back soon with a full wrap up and find out what the riders thought!
